Joey Rowley joined Pitt ultimate as a sophomore in 2021. We did not know he was a sophomore until about March, after countless hours of perch dinners and practices when it was finally revealed by Joey that he was in fact a year older than all of us had thought. Besides being a Celtics-Penguins-Phillies-Cowboys fan (???) Joey is a good guy on and off the frisbee field. An incredible focused and hard worker, Joey worked his way from basically never throwing a frisbee before to a core piece of our O line. Whether it’s making a deep cut on the field or hanging out off the field, Joey can always be seen smiling and being a positive presence for the team.
